Clockwork Angel Movie News

Calling all The Mortal Instruments fans! Clockwork Angel is moving towards the big screen. According to  The Hollywood Reporter, Constantin Films has hired Stephanie Sandotz to write the screenplay for Clockwork Angel and is actively searching for a director to spearhead The Infernal Devices films.

For those of you who are not yet indoctrinated in all things written by Cassandra Clare, The Infernal Devices Trilogy (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess) is a historical, prequel series to The Mortal Instruments - who's first book (City of Bones) is coming to the big screen this August.

There is some definite character crossover between the two series, but not enough that they must be read in a specific order. The two series each have a distinct feel and plot.
